The monument carving of the deity is placed on the helix of Adishesha. The statue is moulded out of a solitary granite stone. Originally, it was carved in a form the goddess Lakshmi was sitting on Narasimha lap but the statue was shattered in a raid in 1565. Today, only Lakshmi’s hand rests on the back of Narasimha.
